Are Free VPN any good? Here’s why you should choose your VPN very carefully, these are the best VPNs for privacy, speed, and online security.

How’s it going, everybody? Welcome back and our free VPNs any good some of you guys have been asking. So, you know, it really depends on what you’re looking for out of your VPN. What do you want your VPN to do? Do you simply just want a VP? And that changes your IP address so that you can hide your own IP address? Do you want to access streaming services? Do you want to bypass some geo restrictions? Do you want to bypass maybe the censorship firewall, if you’re in a restrictive country, it depends on what you’re looking for. Now, most free VPNs are actually not really good or safe in the first place. While a VPN is supposed to encrypt your traffic, a free vpn will encrypt your traffic and will give you a new IP address, and will secure your device on public Wi Fi, let’s say if that’s all you’re looking for, but they will take your data, I would say 90% of free VPNs out there will use your data for marketing purposes. And they’ll just sell it to third party companies. There’s like a lot of articles and a lot of examples of free VPNs just you know doing exactly that, which is why typically don’t really like to recommend free VPNs. I mean, when it comes to free VPNs I do recommend proton VPN or tunnelbear, because they’re independently audited. So these are the free VPNs that I would recommend. But you know, with proton VPN, it’s limited by servers and tunnel bear is limited by bandwidth. And they’re both limited by speed. So and the most they can do is really just secure your device if you’re on public Wi Fi. And you don’t want to use the public Wi Fi without a VPN, which you shouldn’t really I mean, using free VPN is at least better than using public Wi Fi without a VPN, okay. Now, you know, maybe you don’t want to pay that much I really under I understand, maybe you’re just looking for a basic VPN, you don’t want to pay for it. That’s fair. But if you’re looking for a free VPN that allows you to bypass geo restrictions and access streaming services, such as Disney plus Amazon Prime and whatnot. I know bypassing these restrictions to access streaming services is one of the most popular reasons to use a VPN, if free vpn won’t give you that if free vpn won’t give the fastest servers in the first place to be able to string because there’ll be limited these servers cost money to maintain, and free servers are not going to be given to free users, usually the best servers are reserved for paying customers. And if you’re going to be a paying customer, I’d recommend that you choose a premium VPN in the first place, which is why I have these three recommended here, instead of paying for the premium have a free version of the VPN. So yeah, of course, all of these VPNs are going again to vary in pricing ExpressVPN being the most expensive one, Nord VPN kind of in the middle and surf shark being very cheap for the value that it offers.
